Tips for Taxi Travel:
~Don’t try to open the taxi door; the driver has a special button he pushes to open it automatically.
~Make sure to have enough cash on you, taxis are cash only! -.- And no tipping! They just don’t really do it.

This is a useful scenario if calling from a cellphone. It’s quick and easy to remember. Remain calm, and try to describe your surroundings in great detail, to better help explain where exactly you are. If at all possible try using a landline/payphone to call 119 for an emergency. Like in the US they have ways of tracking the call to its origin. Green payphone’s make use of a red “emergency” button as well, press this before dialing 119, like in the US, no change is needed to dial 119/110. A few sites I looked into also said if you are unsure of how to conduct yourself when calling in an emergency, when all else fails just yell keywords such as きゅうきゅうしゃ (Ambulance!) or かじだ (Fire!) Or どろぼう (Thief! /Robber!). Most likely someone will help you out as much as they can, heh. Another useful phrase is, たすけて ください (Please help me!).
